Rhetorical Situations and Genre

Both rhetorical situations and genre consider the significance of the situation meaning they take into account the context of what is happening . They also consider the same constituents: audience, exigence, and constraints. These all affect the tone and decide whether the discourse continues or not. If we understand these two concepts better our writing will be more persuasive as well as our speech.
