Blog Post Two

I think that the people of Shenandoah National Park are writers. They are writing to the heads of the park and trying to convince them to be able to keep living in the national park. The people are also just making everyday requests such as Mrs. Click Clave wrote to Mr. Hoskins to see if she could get her husband Ervin out of jail. I noticed throughout the article there were many misspelled words. I thought for a little bit on whether having incorrect grammar and spelling would keep someone from being a writer. Then I thought to myself what a writer was.

I think a writer is someone that uses written word to explain something, just write something or get a point across. Obviously the people of Shenandoah National Park are trying to persuade the heads of the park to let them stay in their homes. At first I thought writers were people who were paid to write novels, short stories, or articles perhaps. Like Simone said, the difference is very prominent between writing and everyday writing. Everyday writing, like in these letters, are just common pieces of writing that have to do with everyday stuff. Writing itself can be sold and can be a career.
